These are some of the nicest Danio I have ever seen. Still quite rarely offered in the trade, these are my first offspring from February 2007. Kai Arendt introduced them in the German publication Aquaristik Fachmagazin issue #184 p.29-30 as Devario feegradei. However, after reviewing a picture from a specimen of Danio feegradei in the Swedish Museum of Natural History's Ichthyology Database, and the picture in Fishbase, which both clearly depict a different fish (the larger porthole Danio), I conclude that this species is not D. feegradei.
